This stunning female leopard surprised us at the end of a long safari drive populated with abundant wildlife, but still missing what I like to call the "money" shot. We were headed back to camp and in the very far distance I saw her tail swaying back and forth in unison with the tall grass. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me, but alas she emerged in all her elegance. She was still very far away from us, so we waited patiently hoping she would change course and cross our path. And as if she knew exactly what we anxiously anticipated, she approached this large termite mound, climbed up and turned to look straight at us. I couldn't ask for a more perfect subject.
